Our visitors call the Aran Islands Hotel their home away from home. From fueling up with a tasty breakfast before exploring all of the gems our island to relaxing by the cosy open fire with a cold pint of Gunniess from our full Bar to a delicious home cooked meal served in after a day of adventure from our restaurant.
We have lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy, all with stunning island and sea views. Our bedroom chalets have decking with outdoor furniture to help you completely unwind, relax and enjoy the chilled out way of island life. Our balcony bedrooms now have a spacious wooden communal balcony where you can have alfresco catch-ups with friends and family.
We offer both indoor and outdoor dining.

Seaview Bedroom Chalets
Our hotel continues to evolve as demand grows for a unique hideaway from the hustle & bustle of the day to day. Due to popular demand, we added to our little ‘village’ of Seaview Bedroom chalets on naturally elevated grounds to take advantage of the views of the island and Wild Atlantic.
The Seaview Bedroom Chalets are located next to the hotel so that you can take advantage of all our hotel has to offer, including our Bar & Restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Each Seaview Chalet has a decking area for you to relax, unwind or catch up with loved ones on your island escape while soaking up the fresh air & stunning views. Family Bedroom Chalets, with a separate living room and private deck are also available.

Our Team
Niall Madigan, our General Manager, is at the helm for over 20 years. Niall and his team are passionate about the finer details that really make your stay with us special. Niall can be found putting coal on the fire, greeting guests on arrival as well as dropping guests into ‘town’.
Our team have all completed the Fáilte Ireland Charter (get the correct name) so that you can feel at ease when you choose to escape to the Aran Islands Hotel. An island escape is truly a unique experience where you can completely unwind away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our team loves helping you to have the holiday, adventure or escape that you want.
Niall’s speciality is helping couples plan their unique island wedding at the Aran Islands Hotel. Our brides & grooms say what sets us apart is the fact that they get to truly connect and enjoy quality time with their family and friends because of the easy going island way of life!
